Your preferred IT and Communications Engineering Partner

From as early as 1981, the Singapore Government recognised the growth potential of IT when it established the National Computer Board (NCB), now the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA).  National Computer Systems Pte Ltd (NCS) was born then as the IT arm and wholly-owned subsidiary of NCB.

As the principal IT solutions provider to the government, we play a critical role in Singapore Government’s move to computerise the civil service and integrate IT into its public services.  In the past 20-over years, we have actively implemented for government ministries and agencies some 2,000 large-scale, mission-critical, multi-platform projects.

NCS was restructured in 1996 to a commercial entity.  We were fully privatised the following year when we became a wholly-owned subsidiary of the SingTel Group.

Leveraging on our extensive experience in public sector projects, we have diversified successfully into other key economic sectors, and expanded to other markets in the Asia Pacific region.

National Computer Systems was later renamed NCS Pte. Ltd. on 1 November 2003 to reflect our new expansionary strategies.
