Singapore, July 9, 2008
New Mobile eServices Hub - MeSH™ - offers mobile eServices, attractive promotions and content simply with the push of a button.
NCS Portal City, a business unit of the leading IT and communications engineering company NCS Group, is launching a one-stop mobile service platform MeSH™ for NS Portal today, as part of the drive to “mobile-enable” Government services. With MeSH™, NSmen can now readily access a number of eServices and lifestyle content on their mobile phones.
Available for download from http://mesh.portalcity.com.sg or via NS Portal http://www.ns.sg, MeSH™ (Mobile eServices Hub) features Government eServices such as NS Exit Permit and NS Overseas Notification. In addition, MeSH™ offers a wide range of information and lifestyle content – such as the latest COE results, traffic updates, information on the history of Singapore – as well as attractive promotions, which will also be of general interest to all Singaporeans.
Ng See Sing, General Manager, Portal City, said: “Singapore’s mobile phone penetration is one of the highest in the world. As such, communicating with NSmen through their mobile phones is definitely an effective way.
“We expect MeSH™ to be widely and readily adopted, not just by NSmen but also by the general public. MeSH™ is designed to fit our busy lives and enable users to manage a number of Government and NS services while on the go, making these services more accessible to the public as a result.”
