Singapore's NCS partners with Progress Software to deliver real-time data analytics industry solutions

Global software company, Progress Software Corporation (NASDAQ: PRGS),in partnership with NCS, a leading ICT solutions provider, announced today the launch of an industry solutions suite that will provide real-time decision analytics for businesses in Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong and China.

In line with Progress Software’s new strategic plan to be a leading platform provider for next-generation businesses and NCS’ vision to be a one-stop ICT service provider in the Asia Pacific region, the collaboration will offer a comprehensive Decision Analytics Suite for the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI), manufacturing and public sectors.

Real-time analytics have taken top priority in the corporate agenda of most businesses, given the benefits which include gaining competitive advantage. A recent IDC study revealed that the the Asia Pacific excluding Japan (APEJ) business analytics software market will grow beyond US$3 billion by 2013. In Singapore, the government is investing heavily in analytics with the recent launch of the Business Analytics Translational Centre (BATC) by A*Star and the IDA.
