NCS Granted Australian Innovation Patent
Singapore, August 2, 2006
NCS Group, a leading regional information technology and communications engineering service provider in the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions, today announced that the Australian Government recently issued NCS with an Innovation Patent for its value-based methodology for managing business transition.
Business Transition for Value (or BizvalTM) recognises the need that organisations have to manage large-scale business transitions in a value-based, holistic and disciplined manner to improve financial returns on all IT and process changes.
To protect its investment in developing this unique tool, NCS invested in patent filing in Singapore and Australia for BizvalTM.
“This patent further reinforces our ability to create business value for our customers,” said Dr Chong Yoke Sin, CEO of NCS Group. “Our confidence in the value of our approach, which enables optimal value creation for Customers, led us to file for a patent. The granting of this patent further validates that NCS BizvalTM offers an innovative approach to creating real business value through strategic use of information technology,” stated Dr Chong.
NCS has engaged key customers in Singapore and the rest of the Asia region utilising its unique BizvalTM approach. By filing the BizvalTM patent, NCS has increased its store of Intellectual Property related to IT and provided itself with further unique tools to work with Customers throughout the Asia and Middle East regions.
