NCS and Ceylinco to jointly target growth markets in Sri Lanka and other regions for new growth opportunities

NCS Group, a leading IT and communications engineering services provider in the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions, further strengthens its position by the signing of the strategic business alliance agreement with Ceylinco Consolidated International (Pte) Ltd.
Under this agreement, NCS will provide information technology and communication engineering services for all Ceylinco’s core business and other ancillary commercial activities in Sri Lanka and other parts of the world. It also provides NCS the preferential right to provide information systems and network management services in all the projects undertaken by the Ceylinco’s group of companies.
The Ceylinco Group, the largest conglomerate in Sri Lanka, is primarily engaged in the business of investment holding, infrastructure development, financial services and other business activities.
Describing the formalising of close ties between NCS and Ceylinco as a ‘strategic partnership towards greater synergies and growth’, Dr Chong Yoke Sin, CEO of NCS Group added, “Ceylinco’s strong position and considerable experience in commercial activities in Sri Lanka as well as other parts of the world makes them an ideal partner to support us in our drive to provide core services in Sri Lanka and other countries in the region”.

NCS first partnered Ceylinco in the Sri Lanka e-Government Strategy Consultancy project for Information Communication Technology Agency in late 2003. The Sri Lanka e-Government Strategy Consultancy project, funded by the World Bank, mapped out the e-government framework and flagship projects that will accelerate the realisation of the e-Sri Lanka initiative.
NCS in Sri Lanka, led by Country Director, Yip King Ban, is currently also pursuing various consulting projects in Sri Lanka.
