ISO Certification further underpins NCS continued commitment to invest in its leadership position in China’s IT industry

NCS Group, a leading regional information technology and communications engineering service provider in Asia Pacific and Middle East regions, today announced that its Shanghai office has gained ISO 9001 quality certification. To further add to NCS’ achievements, it is also the first company in China to receive re-accreditation of its SWIFT partnership, ensuring that its high quality Financial Services industry offerings in China will continue to deliver business value to its clients.

ISO 9001 Certification is awarded to companies for achieving a series of international quality standards, developed by the Geneva-based International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). It has only taken NCS Shanghai a few months since its new office was established to achieve this widely-recognised global standard.

“Gaining ISO 9001 certification for NCS Shanghai confirms that our quality of services is at international standard – this is an excellent achievement just months after commencement of the new office. Furthermore, being the first to receive re-accreditation of the SWIFT partnership clearly re-affirms our dominance in delivering quality IT services to China’s Financial Services Industry,” remarks Dr Chong Yoke Sin, CEO, NCS Group. “These key milestones clearly show that our continued investment in NCS’ leadership position in China is paying off.”

NCS will continue to invest in its leadership position and will roll out a series of China-wide seminars for its Financial Services Industry clients who wish to understand how to take advantage of the emerging growth opportunities in the FSI market.

NCS Shanghai remains the flagship sales and marketing office as well as the key IT Outsourcing Centre providing consultancy for most of NCS clients in China.

NCS believes strongly in the ongoing investment in the quality of people to position itself as an Employer of Choice. NCS China has more than 650 employees in offices throughout China, including Chengdu, Suzhou, Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou, of which, 98% are local talent.

NCS’ leadership position in China’s IT industry is supported by its ongoing focus on attaining international certification for its China operations. NCS is one of the few China-based IT service providers with CMMI level 5 recognition and aims to gain other standard qualifications in the areas of quality processes (ISO standards) and information technology services management throughout China.

Said Dr Chong Yoke Sin, CEO, NCS Group, “NCS Group’s establishment of its Managed Security Operations Centre is a timely investment.   We understand the challenges faced by organisations trying to decipher information generated by disparate systems, applications and platforms.  All of the various forms of system security threats faced by our Customers can be addressed using our Managed Security Operations Centre."
