Latest achievement reinforces its leadership position in Singapore’s IT services market
NCS Group, Singapore’s largest IT services provider, today announced that it has attained CMMI L5 (Capability Maturity Model Integration, Level 5) in Singapore.
This latest achievement further reinforces its top tier IT services provider status in both the Asia and Middle East regions – it is the only company amongst Singapore’s top 10 IT services providers with this achievement.
NCS has consistently been a leader in the Singapore and regional IT services market, garnering a wide array of ever-improving rankings, both locally and overseas. In Singapore, NCS has been accorded Top IT Services Provider status, and was ranked the Singapore Government’s Top IT Services Provider for FY2006 – the third consecutive year that it has received this accolade.
The latest achievement in CMMI L5 for NCS Singapore comes hot on the heels of NCS China’s Suzhou office’s achievement in May last year. NCS Suzhou was the first IT company in Suzhou, and one of only ten application development centres in China, to achieve CMMI L5.
CMMI is a process improvement approach adopted worldwide, including North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, South America and Africa. It provides organisations with the essential elements of effective processes and serves to guide process improvement across a project, division or an entire organisation. Each level of CMMI recognises different capability level, with CMMI L5 being the most challenging and highest level attainable.
