Jim is currently the sector lead for the healthcare sector. His role is to expand NCS's footprint in Singapore Public healthcare into Private healthcare and regional healthcare providers. Jim is also tasked to explore digital healthcare ecosystem building with various stakeholders including third-party administrators, insurers and innovative solution providers.
Jim has over 20 years of experience in business strategy and development, presales, delivery and P&L management in the ICT industry in Amdocs, TechMahindra, Accenture and Chartered Semiconductor. During his stint in Huawei Technologies as regional CTO for strategic projects, he took on multiple roles focusing on transformation across industries, domains and disciplines. Prior to joining NCS, Jim was the CEO of Good Doctor Technology which is a joint-venture between PingAn Good Doctor and Grab. He successfully set up the company in Singapore and Indonesia, ramped up the team to 100 people, and launched GrabHealth in a short span of 8 months.
Jim graduated with a Masters in Business Administration (Distinction) from Manchester Business School (UK) and a Bachelor in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Hons) from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore). He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and is currently an industry mentor for ICT with Young NTUC, a Senior Fellow appointed by Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) and an Executive Education Fellow appointed by National University of Singapore (NUS). He is also an adjunct lecturer for NUS, SUSS, Huawei University and FinTech Academy.
Jim is a strong believer of YOLO (You Only Live Once) and likes to experience new challenges. He enjoys knowledge sharing and networking, and often gives talks in universities and public forums. In his spare time, Jim enjoys singing and table tennis.
